# Procurement and vendor comparison agent

**Goal:** Build a prototype that extracts structured data from several vendor documents in parallel, scores them against weighted requirements using plain code, and outputs a comparison table plus draft clarification questions.

**Safety:**
- Never spend money, buy, send emails/messages, post publicly, or delete anything without the user's explicit OK for that specific action.
- Never ask for or print passwords/API keys in chat; have the user enter secrets into the tool directly.
- Start with test or sandbox data, such as public or redacted proposals; do not contact vendors.
