How it works
Todoist’s help page (last updated 8 October 2026) says Ramble listens, transcribes and captures tasks in real time, shown in a preview as you talk; you can say “Actually, I meant…” to edit or “Remove that” to delete, and finish with “that’s all” or by tapping Add tasks. It works best with clear task cues and isn’t meant for open requests like planning a trip. Free and Beginner plans get 10 sessions a month; Pro and Business are unlimited. Todoist’s Ramble page says it understands 40 languages and that input is not shared with third parties or used to train AI models. Apple’s iPhone User Guide says Voice Memos and Notes can transcribe recordings on iPhone 12 or later in supported languages; you can copy the transcript, and with Apple Intelligence on supported models summarise it. A copied transcript can then go to any assistant to extract tasks.

## Steps
1. Set up the microphone permission in the chosen app; the user grants it.
2. Practice with 3 sample tasks using clear cues ('I need to...', 'Buy...').
3. Show in-session edits ('Actually, I meant...', 'Remove that') and how to finish.
4. For recordings, have the user copy the transcript from Voice Memos or Notes and paste it into the assistant with the extraction prompt.
5. Review the extracted list with the user; fix dates and names; mark unclear items.
6. Save tasks only after the user approves the list.
7. Suggest deleting audio that is no longer needed.

- Sample tasks appear in the right project with correct dates.
- No invented tasks were added.
- Nothing beyond adding tasks (no messages, bookings or purchases) was triggered.
