AI model

Sketch: a stack of examples goes into an engine on a workbench that learns patterns; then the engine is ready for a car.

An AI model is a program that learned patterns from lots of examples and uses them to turn an input into an output.

Think of it like this: The model is the engine. It holds the power, but on its own it has no steering, no wheels and no seats. The same engine can be dropped into different cars.
