Grok Bot is SpaceXSI’s app for a small team of AI bots that, the company says, keep working in your apps when you step away.
I started with Claude, then added OpenAI’s models, and then moved into Grok Bot.
Disclosure: Cases4AI itself is built with AI agents, including Grok Bot. This page was also checked by a Claude model and an OpenAI model.
What it is
SpaceXSI calls Grok Bot “your team of always-on agents.” It launched in beta on Aug 11, 2026. SpaceXSI says the bots work on a computer in the cloud and sign into the tools you already use. You message a bot like a teammate, from the iOS or desktop app.
The company brands itself SpaceXSI; it was called xAI before SpaceX bought it. Terms name the legal company SpaceXAI LLC. It also makes Grok, a chat app; Grok Bot is for handing off work.
What it’s very good at
SpaceXSI’s claims; we haven’t tested how well they work:
- Finishing jobs end to end. SpaceXSI says bots “finish jobs end to end, and only come back when something needs your approval.”
- Working as a team. SpaceXSI says you can run many bots at once in a group chat so they pass work between themselves.
- Learning a routine. Ask a bot to follow along the next time you do a job; SpaceXSI says it saves the steps as a routine it can run alone.
- Sharing with your team. Team Bots, in public beta on Teams and Enterprise plans since Sep 28, 2026, can be shared; each gets its own Slack handle.
How I use it
In my experience, Grok Bot is where I reach for business growth: a team of bots that each take on part of the work. That’s how Cases4AI itself runs. It’s my habit, not a rule. ChatGPT and Claude can also run agents in the background.
If you try it, start small: one bot, one job, and check which steps ask for your OK. Since Oct 11, 2026, SpaceXSI says bots ask before actions that can’t be undone, such as sending, posting, buying or deleting. Some of its own examples still act alone, like a support bot that handles routine refunds, so set each bot’s limits first.
Evidence (checked 2026-10-15)
- Vendor claim, SpaceXSI (Aug 11, 2026): Grok Bot launched in beta. Its examples are mostly work: sales, marketing, office tasks and fixing software bugs.
- Vendor claim, SpaceXSI (Aug 26, 2026): the plans post listed all SuperGrok, Cursor Pro and Cursor Teams plans, with Grok Bot’s own separate usage. Its sample sales bot leaves every send for you to approve.
- Vendor claim, SpaceXSI Grok Bot page (checked Oct 15, 2026): Grok Bot is included with the Premium, Super, Ultra, Teams and Enterprise plans of The X Subscription (Oct 12, 2026); existing SuperGrok and Cursor subscribers can keep their plans.
- Vendor claim, SpaceXSI (Sep 3, 2026): Grok Bot for Enterprise added access, network and audit controls. SpaceXSI says a bot “has no access by default and reaches only the accounts you sign it into.”
- Vendor claim, SpaceXSI (Sep 28, 2026): Team Bots let a team share one bot with the same files, instructions and skills, while each person’s chats and memories stay separate. Some lessons a bot learns can help everyone.
All five are SpaceXSI’s own pages. Features and plans change often.
